Amazon Clarification
January 12, 2008 on 11:43 pm | In Questions and Comments | 1 CommentHi Tony
Great Book! I am just beginning to start my direct search marketing business, and plan on starting using Amazon then branching out after i get my feet wet.
I am a little confused about Amazon URL and the commissions earned from them. If i have a link that goes directly to my product that I am selling and someone buys it, obviously I receive commission from that link. On Amazon you can have your potential customer linked to search results (for example Harry Potter from the book). Now if the potential customer clicks on my ad and goes to search results for Harry Potter, will i receive commission for any Harry Potter item that the customer buys?
Appreciate the help!

JKaz,
You would receive a commission on ANY commissionable product he buys (whether it is Harry Potter or a JuiceMaster 3000) as long as it is within the referral period, and he does not click on someone else’s referral ad in the meantime.
